These are the step to install and configure the SPI-D plugin for X-Sim:
- Download the SPI-D plugin. Extract the file SPID.dll and copy it in the x-Sim\Interfaceplugins folder.
- Connect the SPI-D display to the computer.
- Start X-Sim. In the Math Setup section create a new axis with name Rpm. Add the Output 1:1 (GForce) plugin to the axis and configure everything like in the pictures below:
- Create a new Speed axis and configure it like in the pictures below. These configuration values work with the game plugins that output the value of the speed in Km/h. If the speed from the game plugin was in m/s, the value in the red circle would be 280. If the speed from the game plugin was in Mph, the value in the red circle would be 626. 1008 works most of the time, but we haven’t tested every single game plugin.
- In the Output Setup dialog, map the created axis to the outputs of the SPI-D display, like in the pictures below:
- To configure the brightness and other features of the display, open the Interface Settings dialog, select the SPI-D interface plugin and click the Open Settings button to display the configuration screen.
