The firmware is the little software which runs inside the Rev Burner and SimScreen display CPU. Sometimes it is updated in order to implement new functionalities or fix bugs.
Follow these simple operations to upgrade the firmware of one of ours board.
Step 1
Download SymProjects Bootloader. Extract the file BootLoader.exe.
Step 2
Disconnect the USB cable and put the Rev Burner, or the SimScreen in Bootload mode, moving the red/blue jumper into the position shown in the pictures:

Start BootLoad.exe
Connect the USB cable now. Click the Open Hex File button and select the file containing the new firmware. New firmwares can be downloaded from the Download page. Now click the Program button to start the upgrade process. This operation will last few seconds.
If the Open Hex File button is disabled when you connect the USB cable and start BootLoader.exe, it means the blue jumper is not placed in the right position.
Step 4
Disconnect the USB cable and put the blue jumper into the original position. The firmware of the board is now updated.
