Your Type R Gauges and the pro-gauge board? I just received my order and I have 2 wires on the gauges. Red and black. (Ground and power). Do I need another wire from the gauge to the S1-S6?
-
I'm almost 100% positive I do.

Type R gauges aren't working. The fuel gauge works but the Type R don't.Can't adjust them in the software. They just light up and look cool.

Ok, I'm an idiot! I got all the gauges working and everything is fine. The only problem i have is that i have unless amounts of fuel! Its a bottomless tank that is always FULL! I never run out of fuel. I have more gas then i know what to do with! I wish that was in real life!!! Honestly, i have the gauge setup in the config and the tank amount at 18.7(Class B iRacing).I never use fuel according to the gauge. Any help?

Hello.
Can you give more information please?
What gauge are you using? how is it configured in SimDash?
Can you make the needle move when you change the settings in SimDash, inthe Pro-Rage configuration screen?
Regards
Cristiano

I am using your Fuel gauge, the one with the black bezel (VDO). It setups in the configuration and is set as the first guage. all the test buttons work. I have the drop down box on Gallons and MAX is 18.7/ MIN 0.00 for Class B iRacing. It never goes empty. Do I have to change the gallons on each car?
-
If you set it for fuel % rather than gallons you dont have to change it for each cars fuel capacity
-
Thanks for that Tip Sticky!!!!

Hello.
So if I understand correctly clicking the TEST button the needle moves acress the gauge, so the connections should be correct.
when you say that the fuel never goes empty, what do you mean? where does the needle stop?
thank you

Needle doesn't move. it stays at a full tank, but i lose fuel when racing in the sim. Not sure what it could be? all the test buttons work and i was able to set 1/4 tank 1/2 tank 3/4 tank and full tank. it just doesn't go down while racing.
-
That's what I meant.
if you can set the gauge to empty, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full using the TEST button is SimDash, then that is good news because it means the hardware is working fine.
It must be a software issue then.
Can you try to change the unit from Mpg to Liter in the configuration screen?
You can also run IRacing and then open the View->Data... screen in SimDash and see if the fuel values make sense...
Please report what you find.
Thank you
Cristiano
