Title: iRacing and brake pressure data
Post by: ItsDaPlumber on August 26, 2013, 02:06:19 am
I searched and didn't come up with anything before posting. I wanted to know if iRacing puts out brake pressure data. I would like a series of light across my dash showing me how hard im depressing the pedal. Can that be done? Also, if it is possible, is there a maximum number of less that i can use to display it? That goes for the RPM as well. I have 13 lights going across.

Hi.

Iracing output the brake pedal position. it's a value between 0 and 1.
0 when it is released, 1 when it is fully pressed.

In this page:

http://www.symprojects.com/go/simdata

you can see what data is supported by every simulator.

so, yes, you can use LEDs to display brake pedal position and RPM.
you can use as many LEDs you want.

the DLC-247 supports up to 192 LEDs.
