Title: Firmware upgrading Rev Burner
Post by: kirbsta on August 22, 2011, 02:39:46 pm
Hi All,

I have just received my new Rev Burner, I noticed it is different to a friends Burner.
I understand that mine does not have jumpers as it is the Rev4 PCB

My question is, if I need to upgrade the firmware at a later date do I have to find a small piece of wire (as in the upgrading firmware pictures) and put it into the 2 empty holes to complete the loop and this will put it into download mode?

Thanks

Correct.
The jumper has been removed.
What you have to do is to link the two "PROG" holes on the PCB to put the rev burner in "firmware upgrade" mode.

Remove the link to resume the standard operation mode.
