I connected 3 LEDs (green, yellow, red) to the first 3 connectors on the Pro Shift board. I can configure the LEDS to light when connected to SimDash 1.3.3. I cannot get them to work in iRacing. Is there anything I need to configure in Iracing?
I've adjusted the brightness from min to max and still cannot see them in game.
I have Rev Burner and GI Max working correctly in iRacing, just need to figure out Pro Shift.

Hello.
When you open the Pro Shift configuration screen in SImDash, all the LEDs should turn on.
This is a quick check to see if they are connected properly.
Does it happen for you?
Also, can youy export the Pro Shift configuration and send it here? you have to open the Pro Shift configuration screen, click "Export..." and save the setting to a file.
Thanks

Yup, when I launch SimDash and open the Pro Shift configuration screen, all leds turn on.
iRacing is the only sim I'm running.
Pro Shift Export file is attached. Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi.
I have checked your configuration file and it is ok.
I see you use LED 1,2 and 3 to display the state of the red, green and yellow flags.
I have also checked the code of the IRacing plugin and found a bug with the green flag: it is not turned on when it should, so the green flag light is not going to work with the current version of SimDash.
The red and yellow flags seem ok so the only reason I can see why they don't work it's because IRacing doesn't output the state of these flags, eve if it is suppose to.
I am not sure I am 100% right here but I won't investigate any further because now IRacing has a new API, which is more efficient and outputs more data. SimDash is going to support it and drop the old API in the next version, which will be available very soon ( a couple of weeks maybe).
you have configured the Pro Shift properly and red and yellow flags are not displayed because this data is not being sent by IRacing. Please wait for the next version of SimDash. The new API probably will fix this issues.
Thanks

This is a follow up from my original post...
I just upgraded to the new Simdash 1.3.4 and still cannot get the LEDs to work. I configured the green LED for a Green flag, Yellow for Yellow Flag, and Red for Red Flag. If this is an iracing problem, I'll move on.

Hi.
if you configure the same LEDs to do something else, do they work?
thanks

No, nothing works from iracing. I can get the leds to light in Simdash, but I cannot anything to work in iracing. I configured one led to the brake and one to the mph at 30mph and cannot them to work either.
I have Rev Burner and GI Max working correctly in iRacing, just need to figure out Pro Shift.

must be an error in the configuration of the device. can you post your configuration of the pro shift (Click Export... in the Pro Shift configuration screen) so I can check it?
thanks

Just to add mine view too, i have the same problem as STINKY with iRacing, the revburners are working gr8 but the proshift is not working at all...I have about 6 leds that are working on other simulators.
Oh i forgot to mention that i have the normal firmware on the proshift NOT the button firmware.

if the rev burners work and the LEDs work with other simulators, the only thing I can think of is that the data you are trying to use with IRacing is not available.
Can I ask what these LEDs should be displaying?
thanks

I have tryed your configuration file with SimDash 1.3.4, original firmware (no buttons) and IRacing.
Some LEDs won't come up because you are using some data which is not available in IRacing (like wheels temp/pressuse or turning lights).
But the LED configured to blink at 7000 RPM works fine and also the LEDs configured with the water temperature.
Probably a silly question: can you confirm your Pro Shift is not disabled?
you can enable/disable the device clicking the "switch" icon in SimDash main scrren.
When the switch is RED the device is enabled and working, when it is gray/black the device won't turn any LED on.
thanks

Cristiano,
I changed the sign of the water temp from >= to > only and it worked also the revlimiter worked too.. now i am going to try the oul pressure and oil temp...
Thanks again.. ur the man ;D
