hi in need of a wiring diagram for the alfa 156 clocks, i know nescafe has the pinouts in his thread but the problem there is,
i dont know which goes to where etc, also i need to know what pin corresponeds to what number, so i need to know what pin 1 ,2 , 3, 4 etc are
they arnt labbeld :(
-
okay so iv decided to take a closer look at nescafes thread and decided to have a play about,
i managed to get the clock lighting up by connecting a 12v source to pin number 10 (ignition operated supply , and, and earth to pin 1 (earth) accoring to nescafes pinouts.

i then decided to make this for my own reference its in accordance with nescafes pinouts in his thread for the 16pin connector it is also here for any1 else who may need it

sim dash now seems stable again, i have no idea what was up with it lol,
now on another note, what should the PPM be set to for the speedo? i also cant seem to get the backlight on either when its working ? :S
and any easy tips on how to calibrate it decently?
-
glad you got there bud..sorry been realy busy..Anyways try this profile
-
thanks for that profile mate, out of curiosity how did u get the backlight working, i cant seem to get it on :(
-
you got bulbs in it??
lol...all i did was tried every pin with a 12volt feed until it worked...Sadly i cant find the wiring details at the moment
-
lol yeah theses defo bulbs in as if i just connect pin10 to 12v and pin1 to a ground speedo works perfectly. but without the backlight
gettin frustrated now lol
-
wel i got it all working eventually,
but now my rev burner seems to be dead!!!!!!
nothing happens when im plugging the usb in, and i mean nothing windows dosnt make the noise it usually makes simdash dosnt see it, device manager dosnt see it,
i dont understand why? it was working 5mins ago,
i disconnected the speedo before i started messing with it so i know it not that, went to plug it all back in once i had it on with the back light also on and then nothing
the rev burner seem dead asa do do, which im not so happy about theses things aint cheap! , as i said i cannont for the life of me think what or how or why this has happend but its excuse my french, Fucked me right off!
is there anyway to test to see if the rev burner us actually dead?
