Title: Fuel/Oil temp gauges
Post by: MrAlternative on January 16, 2012, 05:01:19 am
Hi everybody,
I've been looking to build a cockpit for sometime now and looking to incorporate some sym projects parts. I see that the DLC-247 can display oil temp., fuel and water temp levels, but I can't find anywhere that says how it's displayed.
Can it be done with a gauge? I assume not. Can it be shown as a integer (C or F, in the case of temperature)? Or is it just a warning light?
In the case of fuel, can that be shown as a fuel % remaining?

I did see a list of supported features a week ago, game per game, but can't find it anymore. Can someone link me to that, if that list will answer my questions? Even if it doesn't, can someone link it to me anyway? :)

PS Sorry if this has been answered before, but I didn't really find anything that quite answered all my questions.

Heres the spreadsheet

Display depends on what the game outputs. The DLC-247 can't drive gauges, but if the data is there it can be output as a number (with decimal places), and/or a warning light.
Not sure on the fuel question, certainly the Data display section of Simdash shows fuel %, so I guess it can.
