Title: X-sim
Post by: kikie on April 06, 2011, 12:49:27 pm
I'm puzzled. What do we need the X-sim software for? Is this for making other race games to work with the SymProject items that are not supported by the SimDash?

E.g. if I want to make the RevBurner work with 1nsane, do I need to configure X-sim?

X-Sim is used by people to build motion simulators.
If you are into motion simulators and using x-sim you might want to use the native plugins for x-sim:

The main reason for this is that you don't have to run SimDash and X-Sim at the same time, but only X-Sim.

1nsame is not supported by SimDash. But if it is by x-sim you can use x-sim, even if personally I think it is a bit confusing at the beginning.

The x-sim plugins for the GI Pro display and the Rev Burner with the speedometers firmware will be available soon.
