I've just got my rev burner from a forumer at Insidesimracing. Hooked everything up and installed Sim Dash 1.3.5. However, when I opened Sim Dash, the rev burner was not shown in the 'Connected Devices'. I tried to update the firmware on the rev burner but I can't seem to update the firmware as well.
Anyone can help me on this?

Hello.
Is the rev burner detected by Windows? I mean when you plug it in, can you hear the Windows sound "dlin-dlon"?
thanks

Yeah... It's recognised by Windows and I can see that it is a Rev Burner under the device Manager in Windows 7. It just doesn't show up on Sim Dash and the Bootloader when I changed it to the bootloader mode, according to the instructions on the Symprojects website. My Rev Burner is v2 btw...

Thanks.
Can you try the following please:
Edit the SimDash.exe.config file, which is stored in the SimDash installation folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\SymProjects\SimDash.1.3.5)
Change this line:
<level value="ERROR"/>
to:
<level value="ALL"/>
Now connect the rev burner and start SimDash.
Close SimDash after few seconds.
In the same folder there will be a file with name: SimDashLog.txt
Can you send it to me please? it contains details of the operations SimDash performed. Hopefully I will find something related your problem.
you can send the file to contact@symprojects.com
Thank you
