Post by: djspina on March 09, 2014, 04:25:57 pm
Hi all as the title I'm buying a Pro Gauge to run a speedometer of a BMW e36 in my simulator.
My question is, Does anyone have a diagram that explains how to mount?

I am an Italian and I'm writing with Google translator so I'm sure if the translation and perfect

That would be it,on blue connector pin 18 should be water temp and black connector pin 1 is fuel sensor..

Look here: read and scrolll down to see picture (1000 words  ;) )

You're right it is a problem with the google translator :-\

tried again to translate:

How do I turn on the orange LED speedometer?
Come on by themselves with the Pro-Gauge?
I've gotta make a change I get them to turn on?

Probably your fuel gauge will not work with pin 3 connected to ground in the black connector. just saying.

To the cluster ilumination simply connect the pin 2 of the white connector to 12+. Pin 2 White connector - Dimmer/Cluster light

Thanks for the reply. But to feed the orange lighting with the Pro-Gauge, the food or can I put a power supply to pin 2?

In the text there may be misspellings why I'm writing with Google Translate

i understand what u trying say. use a power supply for all cluster (12v+ and GND) and just put pin 2 of the white cluster to 12v+ (see the schematic picture). that should put light on the cluster.

One last thing, to put safety before i make the order.

I'm buying items that are:

1) Pro-Gauge Controller + Power Supply.
2) 20 pin dual female splittable jumper wire.
3) USB Cable.

That's it? I need another?

if you use a pc power supply, just order the pro-gauge and for the cluster you don't need the 20 pin dual female wire.
