So,
I succeeded in making my own button box. For the moment I used a see through lunch box to experiment with the button layout and later I'll make the final one with a black hard plastic lunchbox.
However, the cable to connect the Dash Pro and the Button adapter is a little bit short for my setup. I need a cable that's at least twice as long so I can mount the button adapter inside my botton box and you won't see any cables outside.
Cristiano, where can I get a longer connection cable? Is it available in specialized electronic shops or is it custom made by symprojects?

unfortunately there isn't a longer version available, but you can make one yourself.
what you need is some 10 ways ribbon cable and 2 of these connectors.

to make your own cable.

I'm going to order 10 of the connectors (just to be sure).
I'm also going to order this cable: http://uk.farnell.com/amphenol-spectra-strip/191-2801-110/ribbon-cable-10way-30-5m-28awg/dp/1170217?Ntt=1170217. This is the right cable right? I know it's too long, but then again I can afford to screw up when trying to make a custom cable.
