Title: REQUEST - Euro Truck Simulator 2
Post by: probuff on June 29, 2016, 07:10:41 am
Hello community,
recently got Pro Gauge, Relay Controller and its module working.
Relay controller does magic for left/right turn, long lights bulbs.
It really works great on Live For Speed, as shown in picture below.

Today I bought ETS2 expecting bulbs to do their job as well, but it does not.
ETS2 got left/right turn signals, long light signal, hazard signal.

Is there any chance to get software update to get these functions, please?
Or is there any way around for this?

Thank you!

Hello.
Try this version of SimDash:

I have added the turning lights to the ETS2 plugin.
you have to configure the ETS2 plugin again, in SimDash.

I didn't test it because I am away, but it should work.

if it does I will add the changes to the next version of SimDash.

Cristiano

Just tried out and it seem not to work. Althou, hope you try it.
I jumped on LFS again to see if relays are still working, and they does.

I'm thinking I made a mistake for wiring up relays for turn/hazard signals, because they are available in only one game - LFS.
On the other hand most games I play is from this camera view.

Is there any chance to activate bulbs (make them blink) with some button press while there is no need for ingame function activation? (working externaly w/o game)
This would make turn signals available for everygame, because in most cases people wont bother of them working in a game

****I conneted them to JC32 and made them as buttons.

Hello.
if the lights work with LfS, they are connected correctly.
As I said I didn't test the work on ETS2 becaise I was away, but I will do it soon.

Also, activating a relay with buttons connected to the joystick controller makes sense, and should be easy to implement.

I will try to do it.
