I guess it's an ambitious ask (and may not be possible at all) but I think a delta time output would be awesome.
What I mean is the ability to display the time difference between your current lap and your previous/personal best lap. So if your currently on a faster lap it would display a negative time. If you're on a slower lap it would display the positive difference.
This would be really useful for trying different lines through a bend etc as you would immediately know if that was faster or not.
I'm a little naive to the extent of the data available but if this was possible it would be awesome!

Hello.
do you mean that the time difference is instantaneously updated or only at the end of the lap (or secotrs of the lap)
thanks

Instantly would depend on the track / sim being used? If the track / sim don't support it then surely it's not possible. I'm guessing sector times are possible?

It should be possible to display the delta time at the end of the lap and probably at the end of any sector.
I will investigate what I can do.
Thank you for the feedback.

I did mean instantly/continuously.
My reason being say I'm 10 seconds down on my personal best lap (so the display would show +10) then I take a corner with a different line and the display drops to +8. I'd know the new line saved me 2 seconds. Without this I'd just know that the lap/sector time was 8 seconds slower as a whole.
As before I know this won't be easy if it's even possible but it would be useful and cool!

It will definitely be cool but I don't think there is the information to do that.
but I will investigate.
