According to the diagram, counting from upper left:
Ground(-): Pin 6(GND)
Positive(+): Pin 5(left +12V)
Tacho: Pin 1(SIG)
Ground and - are the same thing(In this case at least, to all you electrical engineers out there).
If you'd like to have the backlight working, connect pin 7(bottom LAMP) to the + terminal on your revburner or pin 5 on the gauge itself.
By the way, congrats on your tach. I've been eyeing a nice set of Autometer gauges for ages, but they're pretty expensive as I'd have to import them from the US.

HEY MORTOS !
I FOLLOW YOUR INSTRUCTIONS AND ALL IS PERFECT!!!
thE TACH IS EXPENSIVE, BUT IS PERFECT FOR A REV BURNER. VERY FAST RESPONSE WITHOUT ANY SETUP. VERY VERY RECOMENDED.
IN A PAST, I HAS A TYPE R TACHOMETER 5'' AND IT WAS VERY SLOWLY AND VERY VERY WRONG SENSIBILITY. AUTOMETER IS AMAZIN, BUT I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU.
CAN YOU GIVE ME INSTRUCTIONS TO PUT ONE SWITCH FOR A BACK LIGHT?
WHERE CAN I BUY A RACING SWITCH? yOU SAY ME THAT, FOR USE A BACKLIGHT I HAVE TO PLUG PIN NUMBER 7 IN A (+) REV BURNER HOLE. IT'S PERFECT, BUT....
CAN I PUT A SWITCH WITH ONLY ONE WIRE?
CAN YOU DRAW ME A DIAGRAM?
THANKS FOR ALL ONOTHER TIME MORTOS.
REGARDS, DANI
