Title: Rev Burner on motorbike/snowmobile tachometers?
Post by: shsn on December 10, 2012, 12:24:26 pm
Can I run motorbike or snowmobile tachometers with Rev Burner? Some tachometers are designed so that it requires 1/2 of 4-cylinder PWM signals, and got me wonder whether this can be neglected with calibration process done by the software.

Thanks.

if the tachometer is electronic (it receives an electrical signal) I am pretty confident it will work.
The calibration process is quite flexible and should handle difference in pulses frequency. I know some people have used motorbikes' tachometer because they rev higher

Good to know it works with software calibration, thank you :) Ordered Rev Burner.
