Title: Type R survey

I have a post in the Slow Type R speedo post but i figured if i started a new post I might get a little more traffic.

I would like to take a poll on the racers that were able to get results with the pot adjustments, what is the output of your power adapter. Just want to cover all my bases.

As I have tried adjusting my speedo and has made only a little of improvement.

Hi MrW :)

We reckon to 'bin' about 25% of the Type R tachs as being below our performance limits AFTER we have done the 'pot' mod. Its a case of luck as to getting a good or bad unit :(  We only use units that have good needle speed and have a high RPM set for the shiflight.

Trouble is, they are the best around for a reasonable cost, anything much better costs at least x3 the price....
