Title: DLC-247 Show RPM

Is it possible to use the 6-digit display, normally showing the Laptime, to get the RPM of the car? I tried different setting, but I never got a working RPM-display.

Hello.
There is nothing that stops you from displaying the RPM on the 6-digits display.

Have you read this tutorial?

is not specific to RPM but it should show you the general way to do what you want to do.
