Hi Christiano,

with the changes you wrote me I got no error log file. I don't understand why.

But with the new version 13 the error does not show up again  :-)

So I think we can close the topic.

Many thanx anyway,

Mario

Yes, I get it from the file menu.

Hi,

I tried both, and both lead to the error message. I even imported from the SimDash Menu File ... first. Inside the DLC-config screen I tried now, but it ends in the same message.

Regards,

Mario

Hi Christiano,
I attach one of the config files, which leads to the error message.
Thx,
Mario

Hi Christiano,

with the new V12 of SimDash I always get an error message loading file, when I try to load a setting. Even a setting configured with V12 is loaded with error. Do you know this problem?

Anybody else is facing the same issue?

Best regards,

Mario

P.S.: The Setting is loaded correctly - at least it seems to be correct.

I found out, that V7 does not include all tags. Opening a saved file with Word shows the missing tag. So you can rescue files saved with V7, but I changed back to V6 also.

It works for me with 32 bit, when I activate the plugin directly (no autodetect). Did you try that?

Mmh, with SimDash V7 it is still not working ...   :'(

Any news about that, Christiano?

General Discussions / Problem with RPM % in the DLC 247 with Assetto Corsa
« on: September 05, 2015, 11:16:51 am »
Hi Christiano,

it looks like the last Assetto Corsa update changed something with the data output: The RPM percentage is not working anymore. RPM absolute works, as other indicators (speed, position, etc.), but percentage not. It worked until some days ago (I think before the AC update). Could you check that please? I have Windows 10 on the PC, Simdash V6. The leds work, and in other simulations (e.g. GTR2) the function works fine.

Do you need some more Information?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Mario

Flatspotter: You gave the right hint: In the last Windows Update a Microchip USB/COM 4 driver update was done. This seems to be the reason for the malfunction of the DLC. I deleted this driver using a driver toolkit from Gigabyte (the vendor of my motherboard). After restarting the PC and reconnecting the DLC it started working again   :D

I had to use the driver toolkit, because I couldn't delete it in another way. So look for this device in the device manager (should be marked yellow) and try to delete the corresponding driver. That worked for me ...

Best regards,

Mario

Hi Christiano,

my DLC-247 ist not recognized by SimDash anymore. But it seems to be independent of the SimDash version (tried with V5 and V6). The device status in the device manager says, that the device cannot be started (code 10). Do you have an advice, what could be the problem? My DLC was working well for nearly three years, I hope it is not broken?

Best regards,

Mario
