I downgraded back to 1.3.5 as 1.3.6 is just not saving my settings, even if go choose save in the menu.

So I uninstalled 1.3.6 and reinstalled 1.3.5 and also got my settings back, still don't know where they are stored though.

Thanks

The settings are stored by Windows in a folder which isn't the installation folder. And they are marked with the version of the application that created them.

So you are saying the settings are not loaded or saved properly in SimDash 1.3.6?

They weren't for me no, in he initial menu I even chose the file > save thing, closed simdash, started it again and it simply had not saved my settings.

What's the path of this folder so I can try again and verify what happens there, maybe it was a fluke at my end.

Thx

I installed this as the profile thing sounds perfect from a flexiblity pov.

But upgrading ended up wiping out my 1.3.5 configs, that dir is now empty.  I don't see them stored anywhere particularly, have I just lost them.  I can just redo them and I'll have to be careful export them first next time but if they can be recovered somehow/somewhere let me know.

Thx

Thanks, I did get a bit further last night and I believe my problem may be with the % RPM in rfactor which is what I'm testing on currently.

I am using RPM percentage for these LED's and am assuming rpm goes from 0-100% but maybe that's not correct as I can go over 100% in the RPM field.

In the screenshot they use actual RPM itself there, but would I with that config not need to set it differently for each vehicle I am intending to drive as they would all have a different RPM scale, hence my intention to use % instead.

Thanks

I bought a variety of indicators and 2 DLC-247 boards.

Starting to get my head around how it all works now and got everything to function but the only thing I can't quite get to do what I want to do is the SLI/Gear Indicator unit.

I get the Gear Indicator working alright but the other leds I just can't see how to get a working combo.
When testing the displays I have the following things working together.

Top left and bottom left together
Top right
Bottom right

I guess I'm still missing something in the way I am trying to do things but any advise on the SLI with DLC would be appreciated.

Thanks.
