That fixed it. Thanks, Cristiano!

I just got a new computer and cannot get Simdash to work with rFactor 2 on Windows 10. My previous computer was Windows 7, and version 17 worked fine. I have tried both version 17 and 20, but neither works.

The plugin gets copied to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64\Plugins when I configure Simdash, but the plugin doesn't show up in the plugins list in rFactor 2 and the gauges and readouts don't work.

The gauges and readouts (RevBurner, etc.) work fine in Simdash using the test mode, but don't work in rFactor 2.

Does Simdash work with rFactor 2 in Windows 10?

General Discussions / Shift light comes on too soon in rFactor2

This isn't a new bug; it's been around as long as I've been using SimDash (over 2 years?).

The shift light that I have mapped to an LED on the DLC-247 comes on about 500rpm lower than the shift light/redline on the onscreen dashboard of the car I'm driving. It happens on every car I've driven, either ISI or third party.

Can this be fixed?

Thanks, Mario! That worked!

I went into Device Manager, right clicked on the device, chose Properties, uninstalled it, then chose to delete the driver when asked. I unplugged and replugged the DLC-247, and it worked!

Thanks again for your help! You're the man!

This is the exact same problem I have. There was a period of about a week that I didn't power up the computer because my wheel was broken, and when I powered it back up, I don't think it was working. I did a Windows Update, but I don't remember if it was working before the update.

My Rev Burner and Rev Burner Speed are both working fine.

My DLC-247 is no longer recognized by SimDash6. When I plug in the USB cable, Windows recognizes it by making the USB connect sound, but SimDash doesn't recognize it. It's been working fine for over two years.

SimDash recognizes both my Rev Burner and Rev Burner Speed just fine.

The forum link is missing for me, too.  :o

Cristiano hasn't visited the forum since August 11th.  :o :o

I have the same problem. ISI changed the folder structure with build 798, and no matter what folder I choose when trying to configure rFactor2, I get a "Folder is incorrect" error. This is with the 32-bit version of rFactor2.

General Discussions / Packaging suggestion
« on: November 11, 2012, 02:07:07 am »
I received 2 Revburners, a DLC-247, some multi-digit displays and some individual LEDs. I couldn't be happier with the equipment; it's fantastic!

However, I have a couple of suggestions regarding packaging. I ordered 3 different color LEDs, and they were all packaged separately, but the colors weren't marked so I had to plug them in to figure out what color they were. Marking the colors on the bag would be very helpful.

Also, the Revburners and other boards should be packaged in antistatic bags, not plastic ziploc bags. Ziploc bags aren't antistatic. Even if static doesn't kill the boards outright, it can shorten their lives, and make your products less reliable.

Keep up the good work!

For 100% value must be 11000 and tachometer must be on 11000 rpm. My tachometer on 100 % and 11000 displays 7500 rpm

I have this problem, too. If I set the Max RPM Value to 11000 (I have an 11000 rpm tach), and I set the 100% value slider all the way to the right, my tach reads around 9000 rpm (I can't remember the exact value). Do I need to change the number of cylinders my tach expects? There's a setting on the tach to select 4, 6 or 8 cylinders.

I'm having the same problem with saving DLC-247 settings. I have to export them, then when I start SimDash (v.1.4), I have to import the settings for them to show up. I am running the DLC-247 with an external power supply (supplied by SymProjects).

Settings for the two RevBurners I have are being saved with no problems.
thank you for reporting the problem.
I will investigate the problem and probably will ask you to do a couple of tests if you are available.

Cristiano

It's working now. I don't know what happened; when I first set it up, the settings didn't get saved. I exported the settings, and imported them, and it seems to remember them now without having to load them every time.

One question: if I save the settings on the DLC-247, does that also save the settings on my two Revburners, or do I have to save them separately?

Got it figured out; it was due to not having cookies enabled for Google docs.

Hi,

When I click a link to get to the supported data worksheet (http://symprojects.com/go/simdata), it takes me to a login screen on Google Docs. Is this link broken?

I'm trying to find out what games support yellow, blue and black flags (apparently rFactor 2 doesn't).

General Discussions / DLC-247 confusion
« on: September 24, 2012, 12:22:17 am »
Hi, I was reading the thread titled "DLC-247" and I'm still a little confused. I want to hook up the following devices:

Two 6-digit displays (last lap and best lap)
One single-digit display (gear readout)
One 3-digit display (lap counter)

Can I run all of these off of one DLC-247? I was planning on using 3 of the DLC-247 pin splitters.

If I can, are there any outputs left over (e.g. for single LEDs, not 7-segment LED displays)?

Also, what cables would I need for this?

Thank you.
