O.K. I figured out that I had to cut both wires (orange and brown) to make it 4 cylinder and now it works great.

I bought the tach used so there is no manual. I believe it was set up for 8 cylinder since it was used on an 8 cylinder. There is no switch on the tach at all. In the simdash the slider is maxed out all the way to the right after 8,500 rpm, it seems it needs to move more so I can continue. Anything after 8,500 rpm the sliders are pretty much maxed out. And Thank you for the quick reply.

Hello everybody, I just bought the rev burner with the U.S. power supply, hooked up my tach and downloaded everything I needed to get going. The problem I'm having is when I need to configure my tach from 90% on the sliders only go up to 8,700 rpm, so testing anything after that is impossible. I have an Autogage Tachometer made by Auto Meter and the rpm goes up to 10,000. Any help to get my tach in sync with the simdash would be much appreciated.
