Im having an issue with my progauge board.

s3 and s6 dont seem to work correctly.

I have 4 Clocks running on the progauge. fuel, oil temp, oil pressure , water temp

i got  hold of another oil pressure which i intended to use for fuel pressure this is where the issue began.

I can configure the gauge correctly in simdash the gauge moves through all of its range correctly. in either s3 or s6

However when i go into game the gauge fails to read. so i thought i had a faulty gauge. so i tried my other oil pressure gauge which i know works.

It still wasnt working in s3 or s6. I could config it simdash but in game the gauge failed to move ( this is with a fully tested working gauge as i can put it back into  s1,2,4, or 5 and the gauge functions correctly)

No matter what i set any gauge to read if its in s3 or s6 it fails to move in game but configures fine in simdash.

this happens with every gauge ive tried including my working ones from s1 s2 s4 and s5.

not sure what the problem is as they configure fine in simdash.

I have modified the way the game is detected.

Cristiano

This didnt work for me, the game was stil Undetected by Simdash. One thing i did notice is the steam build im using is dated

just a quick guess, this might not be and most probablly isnt the issue. but its the 1st thing that stood out to me.

have you tried setting the IP to the IP of your pc? as it wont be 127.0.0.1 for your pc itll be something like 192.168.0.1 or something.

its easy enough to check your ip through CMD just type "ipconfig" and look for your  IPV4 address thatll give you the IP that your pc is currently using.

So

CSR?? Do you mean car sound remixer for Lfs?

If so yes you can but you need LFPS (live for speed proxy server) which lets you use multiple outgage apps at once.

I use it myself so if it is what you are after and ned any help just give me a shout

Sorry to drag up an old thread but i thought itd be better in here than a new topic.

Im having some issues with RRRE and simdash. Yesterday it was working fine with no problems at all,
Today, simdash wont see RRRE and is saying No Simulator Detected. Also on the view data tab theres no data being displayed at all.

This is only with RRRE and as i say it was working yesterday and nothing has changed.

Ive not reinstalled RRRE as i dont want to setup my profile again but if its the only way to fix it ill have to do it.

Nice setup Mike, Subbed on youtube! would love a set of gauges like that but ther pricy. been looking at nascar dashes on ebay and wooooo lol big bucks!

And Yes cristiano thats correct, After a bit of fiddling in simdash there all pritty much spot on. just need to get them reading right when the temp decreases as its slightly out but i think thats down to my configuration being out slightly.

on another note everything is all working fine, the other fuel gauge still buzzes )kind of like a high pitched buzz cant capture in on a recording ive tried lol)  when reading around 75%-100% just over the 100% mark the noise stops so im fine with this as it must just be how the gauges are and when racing you dont really hear it, its only when im on the desktop say configuring simdash that i hear it so no biggie really.

Ill be popping the other gauges back in the post to you sometime tomorow or friday so ill email you once this is done to let you know.

Thanks for all your help Cristiano and others!

Got my Replacement Gauges today, Cristiano Kindly Sent me the Dragon Gauges instead of the Type R gauges.

in my personal opinion, theses are much better, just a shame about no adjustable back light but that's just for show lol.

However, i seem to have a laggy Oil Temp gauge. in comparison with the other 2 gauges anyway.

I made a quick vid on it. Not sure if its an issue yet, but upon 1st calibration i did notice the temp was off at around the 50% to 75%range on the increase and decrease. but ive not got them configured 100% yet, still figuring it out lol.

Not sure if this is related but ive noticed an issue with iracing also

Nothing connected to my progauge board works in iracing, the temps and fuel fail to move at all.

However my 2 rev burners workfine n my tach n speedo are spot on. , ive stil to try my gi max n sim screen in iracing, ill do that later and report back.

Just out of curiosity have you tried reinstalling simsash or updateing to the latest version.

thanks for the confirmation on the sliders etc,

on the oil temp,  if i click the 25% it goes to say 60degrees, i then click the 50% and it goes to 95degrees, If i then click 25% again the needle only falls to 75degrees, which isnt what it was left on.

The same thing happens on 50% (95degrees) to 75% about (110degrees) however the needle fails to move at all once you go from 75% to 50% it stays on 110 degrees.

Same thing from 75% to 100% (150 degrees) once you go from 100% to 75% it only drops to 140degrees when it should drop to 110degrees.

The problem always seems to be on the decrease on % or temperature, the increase is never an issue. which would exsplain why the needles drop down in odd increments when the temps start to fall.

i hope thats clear how ive explained it. the same thing is happening the with water temp too, the oil pressure i cant really do much testing on as iracing is the only game i know that has oil pressure and my license just expired.

Regarding the Fuel Gauge, ill be Emailing you shortly so make sure to look out for it.

Cheers
