Hi all!

Sorry for the delay in answering, I had some health issues (now I'm ok again  :D).
I Just wanted to tell you that I finally could connect the tach to the rev burner with a friend's help, but I didn't worked right, so I assume that the tacho is too old and won't work anymore. So thanks to all for helping, especially to Dennis who gave us the right clue.

Regards

General Discussions / Screws and nuts for the SPI-D & GI Pro

I assume that maybe this is one of the most stupid questions in the whole forum   :-[ , but the truth is I live in a small town and I can't find screws and nuts small enough for mounting my devices to the pot project I'm working on, so I will have to order them online, so I need to know the size of those pieces (if possible in mm, as here in Spain we don't work with inches) I guess thew are 2mm, but I prefer to get an "official" conformation. SO, can anybody tell me if 2mm screws and nuts are suitable for mounting the spi-d and GI pro?

Thanks in advance

P.D: I know i should buy a caliber tool, maybe someday...  ;)

Hi.
I don't think it is a mechanical tachometer bu gI can't see where to connect the signal wire.

Maybe to one of those unused screws?

Hi Cristiano, I thought the same but those screws seem to fix the rev counter to the case. This weekend I'll speak to a friend's father who may know how to wire this rev counter, if I get any instruction I will post it here.

Regards!

Hi all!
I'm about to order a rev burner for my first simracing project and i would like to ask the community for some help with the tachometer. A friend of mine (with even less idea of electronics and mechanics than me  ::)) gave me and old tachometer his father used a lot of years ago when i told him
about the project, and I suspect it is not suitable for rev burner 'cause there is no blue/green cable for coil, only red and black cables are present. So my question is if it is a mechanical tacho and I will have to look for an electric one. A couple pictures:

Rear view of tacho:

The black piece is for the bulb, and sadly, I have no instructions on how to wiring as my friend's father passed away some time ago.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my English  ;)
