I did all that.

According to EKsim,  Dbox motion code are incorporated into Codemaster Games,  he is not sure whether Dbox had blocked UDP usage.  I need to check with Dbox and let you know the result.

i find that in the original dirt 3 game, sometimes you will also have to edit the hardware config file in the actual game folder instead of the documents one,it works for me with roso f1 wheel and simdash rev burner. not sure about dbox tho. although, i prefer not to run the sli pro on the roso wheel as it gives very random output signals depending on cars. the sim dash is much nicer with dirt series. as for f1 2011, i don't use the sim dash as the rpms are too high for that.

btw, alan chan, where are you located at? how much did it cost you the dbox system?

Hi I'm finding it confusing with the configuration. would you be able to help out as to what needs to be changed when using the codemasters proxy app by eksimracing? i want to get both rev burner and my roso wheel which has an sli-pro working.

I've found a solution for the extra data problem in dirt 3 patch 1.02

download this
http://www.worthdownloading.com/download.php?gid=4744&id=23412

run the patch, and viola.. you're back on 1.01
now do the usual hardware config xml edits and it should work.. game does not freeze at end of the game anymore.

Thanks,

really looking forward to the firmware update for that. This will definitely improve the feature set of the rev burner seeing that it's going to be the only thing in the market that can control a fan.

hi I came across this
http://www.x-simulator.de/forum/x-sim-speed-controlled-fans-for-racing-t2918.html
this is using Pololu Micro Maestro 6-Channel USB Servo Controller

and this
http://fergotech.net/diy-wind-simulation/
this one is using arduino board but only for iracing

i was wondering if the rev burner when used as a speedometer output is able to control fans? is the information from the rev burner the same with fan controllers? is this at all possible? It would definitely prove to be a good rev burner selling point and will add to a lot of immersion for us sim racers who already own the rev burner.

Please help me with this.

Thanks
