That one is for a customer/friend. He picked it up from a shop that sells used parts. I've got some other stuff waiting to go too. :)

AND yes we are ready, quit stallin'!!!

I did a quick check in iRacing. The Fuel% seems to be working right, but I could not get the Fuel to work.

I will double check your xml on my end just to make sure.

Hi,

I am using iRacing.

It is displaying the data for RPM%. I tried with a ProShift I have and it works ok with RPM%.

With the DLC and RPM% all of the LEDs come on at the same time.

Hi I am having a problem with the DLC-247. I am doing something similar, but I can not get the LEDs to work with RPM%. I set them for RPM just to make sure they are working correctly and everything is ok. When I set them to RPM% they all come on at the same time instead of what I have the values set to.

Video of RPM% Not working as set in SimDash

Same LED configuration set to RPM

Hi Cristiano,

Any update on this? How long till next SimDash update?

I've also tried to get something working with Gallons but no luck.

I downloaded rFactor and still no luck with fuel in any way.

Everything else I've tested seems to work perfect.

OK I made a better video!  ;D

I am able to get it to work wit h > 0 or < 100, but anytime I select a different value it does not work.

Is this not working properly yet? Anything I set the fuel to doesn't seem to work the way it should.

I'm trying to set up a row of LED's to work as a fuel gauge to read different percentages as the car gets low on fuel.

Here's a video I made, as you can see it will work at first but when I go to change the values it doesn't work. I can change the same LED to something else and it will work, just not working with fuel.

Sorry for the poor quality. I will try to make a better one later. :(

Maybe I'm doing something wrong and don't see it.

What Mike has done is hook the gauges up to the RevBurner to use the 12v to power them, then ran the gauges in "demo" mode. (Edit: Didn't read all of Mike's post he said the same thing, sorry for the repetition.)

You can find info on the gauges here:

awesome! thanks for the update, yellows work in iracing (oval Quick test of chicargoland)

is it possible now or future to have

  • to have 2 LED programed for yellow flag
  • both to flash
  • one of them the inverse logic of the other

so it looks like the yellow its moving between the two?

Yes! I've had this thought in the back of my mind for a while just never got around to asking. Thanks crazyhorse!

Thanks again for all you do Cristiano!

The new update is working great. I can confirm that Yellow is working now in iR!

The DLC-247 looks amazing! I will need to pick one of those up when I finish up some of my current projects!

Cristiano
this board wouldnt be the DLC247 would it?

No, the DLC247 is a different board.

From this thread: http://www.symprojects.com/forum/index.php?topic=333.0

"Hi.
I am definitely doint a controller for those gauges, or at least I will try.
But as I said in another post I will start working on that project at the end of November because first I have to complete another controller which will be available in few weeks.

Cheers
Cristiano"

We all can't wait for the board to drive other gauges!!!

I also have had no luck with the Yellow flag. I have tested on a couple of ovals and I can confirm that Green and Black are working.

@karledulle in iR you can use the Spectate / Ghost Sessions to do some testing vs paying for hosted. Also if you didn't already know, you can alt + tab out of the session and make changes to Simdash and rejoin for testing changes to SD. I didn't know this at first and was quiting the Test sessions each time and starting a new! I'm saving a lot of time now! lol
