UPDATE WORKING GOOD NOW

Never had a problem until a few weeks ago my gauges (rpm, oil and water) were blinking.
I noticed it said update at the bottom right, now I am running the latest version and after
going in and resetting all the values in the rpm and oil and water when I go to race again
all of the values are back to grayed out and nothing works.
What am I doing wrong.

Any help would be awesome.

Cristiano: Do you think is possible anytime soon?  I would much rather give my cash to you than your competition.

Going to bump this post as I would honestly like to know your opinion Cristiano.  if it is not possible then so be it but if you are able to come up with something I would rather wait on you.

Hello.
rFactor and SimDash should work fine in Windows 10.

Please try to install these libraries:

General Discussions / Simdash not working with rFactor 2 on Windows 10
« Last post by Flatspotter on July 13, 2018, 01:49:19 am »
I just got a new computer and cannot get Simdash to work with rFactor 2 on Windows 10. My previous computer was Windows 7, and version 17 worked fine. I have tried both version 17 and 20, but neither works.

The plugin gets copied to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64\Plugins when I configure Simdash, but the plugin doesn't show up in the plugins list in rFactor 2 and the gauges and readouts don't work.

The gauges and readouts (RevBurner, etc.) work fine in Simdash using the test mode, but don't work in rFactor 2.

Does Simdash work with rFactor 2 in Windows 10?

Questions about specific simulators / Re: FORZA MOTORSPORT 7 SUPPORT ?
« Last post by Reverend Sarge on July 07, 2018, 11:14:38 am »
The above method was how SimXperience got it working during the testing phase of FM7 support in their Sim Commander app.
Within a few days they were able to bypass all of that router work for the end user and were simply able to update their app in order to get motion & vibe support.

I updated my Sim Commander app on my PC to the latest version on Friday and it all just works, no router configs needed.

Same goes for the other company which offers wind emulation, their app was updated on Saturday and no router configs by the end user are needed.

Hopefully Cristiano can figure out what the issue is for Sim Dash....I have faith in his abilities :-)

In that case, the plugin will work for you. Just set the port forward option on the Forza plugin for Sim Commander to the port you have set in Sim Dash. I have mine set up in the same way.

Thanks, but sorry I don't follow what you mean by that.

Under Sim Commander, my UDP Port Forward option has a value set to "0".
Everything works great for Forza 7 in Sim Commander.
I only use it for SimVibe ( I don't have a motion rig ) but it works perfectly.

I'm only using the Sim Dash app for wind from the Fan Controller, which isn't working at all in Forza 7.
Shouldn't Sim Dash be using the same settings as Sim Commander, which is IP:127.0.0.1 & Port:10001????

Hi,

No, the port forwarding from sim commander needs to be different for the dash to work. Simply enter a port of your choice into sim commander (example 4122), then enter 4122 into the Sim Dash plugin settings.

I have set my motion simulator up in a similar way, which also uses a different port.

Note; At present, only rpm works.

Cheers.
