Koso RX-2N
« on: August 06, 2013, 01:44:11 am »
Greetings all. Has anyone here or at Symprojects thought about using one of these? Was wondering if it were possible to use the odometer as a lap timer and the clock as a position indicator.

It is possible, in theory. In practice, you'd have to strip out the electronics and drive the LCD directly, fiddly to say the least.

Unless you have previous experience with electronics and fine(possibly SMD) soldering, it's more likely to result in a broken device.

You can't do it electronically, as the odo is driven directly by the speed input. The clock will be a standalone circuit as well.
