DLC-247 and relay
« on: August 12, 2014, 11:11:49 am »
hello, I have a simulator with Pro-Gauges, DLC-247 and JC32, all functions very well, I will want to know if he/it was possible to replace, on the DLC-247, a led by a small relay of 5v of this type
                                                                                                             http://www.ciel-electronique.com/electronique/fr/DA25VDAG632904/Relais/Composants-passifs/DA25VDAG632904_Relais-Divers.html

(me in full in drawer) to be able to order a more powerful lamp. If no as adding a transistor for the order of the relay it would function?
thank you
 eric

Hi Eric, late response but maybe helpful for other guys who are interested in....
I tried a relay card like this:

Based on the problem that the LED's are multiplexed, you have to add a small capacitor parallel to the LED-output, I use 16V 10uF and it worked fine for me ! :)

Best regards,
Martin
