Project CARS
« on: May 09, 2015, 09:27:23 pm »
Hi,

I installed pcars today and expected my DLC-247 to work like in any other sim from the list of supported titles but it did nothing.
Simdash does recognize that pcars is running but it has no effect on the DLC. Choosing the plugin manually instead of autodetect doesn't make any difference.
Since I didn't have the prerelease version of pcars I don't know if this is a new problem or if I'm the only one with this issue.
Anyone else with this problem here or any ideas how to fix it?

Do you have Shared Memory activated in the game options?

Then activate it  ;)

Options > Visuals (don't ask me why) > Hardware > Shared memory YES

This tells Project CARS to chuck out the data required for 3rd party apps.

I have my DLC 247 working fine with Project CARS, wish that Simdash would be updated to recognise more of the data it puts out though :(
