My DIY dash with leds and displays
« on: August 30, 2013, 07:10:49 pm »
I have recently made a dash unit based on the DLC-247. It has 20 leds and a few displays. Here are some pics:

Plywood plate

All wired up, most worked on first attemp. ;D There are some empty holes for different warning lights with logos that I will add later.

The yellow leds weren't as bright as the others so I put more layers of vinyl tint on the others. (Should have wired the yellow ones to one display with no other colors and dim the rest with the software.)

The last thing to do was to cut a piece of clear plastic to the right shape, tint and attach it.

All working like they should.

Thank you Cristiano for making all this possible!  :)
