Hello Cristiano!
My name is Steve, I’m from Austria and I bought a few month ago a ProShift, a GI-Max and a SimScreen. They all work perfectly in my race-rack with Race07 and I’m really satisfied and thank you for your great work.
So now I bought F1 2011 and yesterday I downloaded your SimDash 1.3.4 beta to try to get my parts running with this game.
The problem is, if I change the “hardware_settings_config†in the documents (like said in your documentation) and start the game, as soon as it is loading the race-track the game quits to desktop with the following line (also see attached picture):
“sendto failed with error 10038: Ein Vorgang bezog sich auf ein Objekt das kein Socket istâ€
(in englisch: „sendto failed with error 10038: a process refers to an object which is not a socketâ€)
Now I’m really not a pc-expert but I think my problem is because of my internet connection (mobile internet with usb-modem) and the following line in the “hardware_settings_configâ€. Because my line in this file looks like this:
<motion enabled="true" ip="dbox" port="20777" delay="1" extradata="1" />
…and in your documentation it shows an ip-adress instead of “dboxâ€.
I had the same problem already in Dirt 3 but after reading your forum I thought this was the “usualâ€problem people had after the 2nd patch of CM and so I didn’t investigate it further.
But now that you wrote in the change-log of the beta-version that F1 2011 should work with the equipment I thought I ask if you probably know what to do in my case because I’d really love to have it work with this game!
Many thanks in advance!
