hello, i change the file at /documents/mygames/dirt3/hardwaresettigns by copy and pasting there, my revburner works, but when you finish a race or pause or restart the game just stucks and closes, can someone help me? there is a need of one space, tab or symbol in the settings to fix this problem? i copy exactly from the page and got the same problem for f12012

I know the Dirt3 had a similar problem. What I experienced was a crash at the end of the lap, other people had a problem similar to yours.

The issue started appearing after the installation of a patch. I don't remember what the patch number was or if other updates have been released since then.

I don't think very much you can do. Maybe run the game without the patch, if you have the DVD version

I have a gi max and a spid D. combined with a simconmotion frex
That functions perfectly in all the plays except the plays codemaster or one must change extradata 0 into extradata 1. At this time there my simconmotion does not function any more because it requires extradata 0 for fontionner.

Have Dirt3 on Steam, has anyone found a way to get this to work? I have done all that 's been said, but each time I cross the finish line I have a crash, only Ctrl+Alt+Del will get me out

by the way this is a codemaster's problem with the extradata issue. F1 2012 i think have this fixed, mine did the same thing a while back but the latest update got rid of this (I got this working with SLI-PRO) and that's how I know.
Dirt 2 works  but Dirt 3 totally flunked in this department. so I turned it off.
