Hi  ;),
have you taken the right cable for the connected needle on the pro-gauge?
normally you have a manual with the gauge?
how many cables on gauge?

take a screenshot if you can

Look at the link :Configuring the other gauges
maybe you need to move some jumpers

you have this? http://www.symprojects.com/shop/type-r-oil-temperature-gauge/

I have the oil temperature gauge DRAGON GAUGE from the website and have THREE cables.

Red: + 12V
Black: GND -
green: the needle

you must need more than 2 cable to operate the counter hand,  only the gauge light works ?
Take me a screenshot of the gauge please (back side)

sorry for my english  ;D

ok I see better what to do  ;D

so the red and black cable is for the light of counter and 3 screws are to operate the needle,
then you have to cut it in addition to the red cable you're going to fix the left screw(between the washer and bolt) and assembled with the other red cable and connect the 12V + pro gauge.

After that you did the same thing with the black cable on the right screw counter.

The central screw is for the needle that plugs S1.S2.S3.S4.S5 or S6 pro gauge (so you connect a green cable, for example)

I hope to have you help  ;)

Hello Mitch57 it worked all i had to do was change was the wire on the left is the signal wire and it is all up and running but the only problem is the oil gauge seems sluggish...

You probably need to fine-tune it. Sometimes more than just 1 value works, for example for 25% both 12 and 1300 could work as a value. In my experience lowest value works best.

I don't have mine connected right now, but out if the top of my head, you need to set values for 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.

The gauge could work at values 0, 10,20,35,50 aswell as 800,1300, 1650, 1788, 2134 or even reverse, so starting at 0% with a higher number, going down.

Just sweeping the slider towards something that shows a value isn't enough. obviously at the lower values, a change of 1 or 2 could have a huge impact on how the gauge responds. But same holds true for the higher values...

I just start to find something at 50% and work 'around' that, so to 25% and 75%...
