Cristiano,

is it possible to have a beta build? It's a bit annoying to be unable to make use of the display, although I can understand you want to test a new build thoroughly. :)

Not doing this because of Cristianos reply but I realized I may have went a bit over the top yesterday - most games work right away and if not there's a workaround. In case anyone's curious: GSC2013 works if the GSC2012 plugin is pointed into the right direction, too.

I tried changing it to my F1 2012 config but to not avail.

For reference:

Quote
<motion enabled="true" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" delay="1" extradata="2" />
<led_display nativeSupport="false" />

Anyway, if it's all as usual it will take weeks to get the DLC-247 to work with a new game...top job.

This might help some of you. I didn't check if it supports my DLC-247 module but other modules are listed and it can definitely support my SimRace PRO in pCARS. :)

Cristiano

patch #10 apparently added some functionality to F1 2012 and I can even display KERS, DRS and Yellow Flags on my other display (SimDisplay). Yet, your spreadsheet hasn't been updated so I don't know the full capacity and what else is actually supported. Any chance you can update this?

I can confirm that the following is supported:

- DRS (lights up once you press the button and will stay lit until it's closed due to braking or pressing the button again)
- KERS (lights up once you press the button and will stay lit until pressing the button again)
- Yellow Flag (lights up as long as your car is in the affected sector)
- Fuel (will display fuel in kilograms, so in Malaysia with heavy fuel load it'll display 161 (McLaren) and go down by around 2.8 per lap)

Did you change the port or anything else? It's still 20777 in my settings.

That's how it's looking - the display is on but in "neutral position", so to say. :)

have you edited the hardware_settings_config.xml for F1 2012?

I did back when I had the review version installed and copied the same setting file into the corresponding directory of the release version. I'll try to let the game create a new one and edit that one again.

No, doesn't work. The display is online but it doesn't display any data.

has F1 2012 been released?

On the 18th in the US, yes. In EU it's going to be available in around 2-3 hours from now. I've been lucky enough to get a review version and it didn't work, neither does the release version.

Well, that's pretty much it - any ETA on an update for SimDash? Playing the review version using the onscreen HUD was ok'ish but it's not the same. :)

SimDash doesn't detect it on port 20777, I tried.

Hello.
I have replied to your email but I will do here as well so other people can read.
POSITION value is not supported in F1 2011. this file:

www.symprojects.com/go/simdata

show what values can be used with F1 2011.

Regarding the best lap time, it's not supposed to reset at pit stops. I am going to look into this and fix it in the next release.

Cheers
Cristiano

Sorry, seems like the sheet I had wasn't correct. Thanks for looking into the lap time issue. :)

I recently bought a DLC-247 (one of the MONSTA units that SRH is selling) but it's now showing my position during any session. Also, it doesn't keep my fastest lap after a pit stop. So each stint I'm seeing a different fastest lap, which is annoying as well. Not seeing the position is worst, tho.

The unit is working perfectly fine in rFactor 2, for example. Any ideas?
