Been getting a 404 error for the past few days when trying to visit the shop.
Temporary blip ??

Would it be possible to add a command line parameter to load the setup of your choosing on starting Simdash?

He is missed on this forum but it's reassuring that he replied quickly to my emails.

Very reassuring, people can start to worry when silence gets too long...Nice to know that Cristiano is at least OK ;)

Yeah I've had quick replies from him via email too.
He really does need to update this forum occasionally though, if only to announce new versions of Simdash.
Version 8 went live a few days ago apparently  :o with ATS support.

I've been wondering the same thing  ??? Great products but since a while now no sign of much support on the forums.

I'm on the verge of buying The Sim Monitor software to display stuff to compliment my DLC247, but at the moment SimDash does not appear to support all the data Project CARS has available (and has for a while since long before release) so I'm reluctant.
Don't really want to have yet another bit of software running to display data to a screen so hopefully there will be some news of a new new version or some evidence of ongoing updates and support.

Then activate it  ;)

Options > Visuals (don't ask me why) > Hardware > Shared memory YES

This tells Project CARS to chuck out the data required for 3rd party apps.

I have my DLC 247 working fine with Project CARS, wish that Simdash would be updated to recognise more of the data it puts out though :(

Do you have Shared Memory activated in the game options?

No. I want to configure 4 LEDS out of a group of 8 without tracing wires to see which is which.
Narrowing down the group is easy with the TEST function associated with each "display". Currently identifying each LED within a "display" is not easy.

For 7 segment displays the current system works fine, if you are using individual LEDS the setup could be improved.

Thanks for that, but I already know you can work it out by tracing wires etc..

but wouldn't it be nice (and much more user friendly) to just have the LED you are configuring light up?

It would be nice if when you are configuring LEDs on a DLC247 , if the LED being edited could be illuminated so as to indicate which LED it was i.e. ABCDE etc..
Would help tremendously for those of us whose wiring is not structured in the best way or like me recently having to swap some wires around and messing up the order. I could go through swapping wires, or much easier to just reprogram the DLC.
AFAIK the only way to check which LED is configured is to actually run a game to test??

Ah well. Would have been nice to have made use of it whilst not driving.

I 2nd this request.
Would be very useful  ;D
