4-in-1 tach and ProGauge
« on: August 09, 2013, 11:32:59 pm »
I have my pro gauge board up and running with a 4-in1 tach I got off eBay:  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&item=221246923517&view=all&tid=1214200119012

I mounted the pro gauge board in project box and added toggle switches for the tach’s power and lights.  The SymProjects' software was very easy to configure.  The only issue I had was that the tach initially would not calibrate all the way to 11,000 rpms.  I found information on the SymProjects’ website forums that I needed to turn up the small potentiometer on the tach’s circuit board.  It was easy to remove three small screws on the back of the tach to get to the circuit board.  A slight turn clockwise did the trick.  All of the tach’s gauges work perfectly in iRacing.
