Toggle Switch and Pro Race wiring question
« on: September 24, 2013, 03:27:24 am »
So I have a Pro Race with the button adapter and a Toggle Switch
http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-pcs-Toggle-Switch-with-White-LED-Fog-Light-/331030404829?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d12f31edd

Can someone tell me how to wire this switch and supply power to the LED while still having the switch work with the Pro Race button portion of the board (when the switch is in the "on" position it represents a button press)

My last attempt at asking this was not helpful to me ( my fault wiring and electronic not my strong point) and I believe the people on this forum were trying to set up the switch as a supply power (on) no power (off).

Hi.
I am not sure how I would connect the LED to make it work but we can try to investigate if it is possible.

from your link I can't see much information about the switch.

do you have any document with the switch? or can you describe how it work? number of pins? marks on the pins...

thanks

the switch did not come with any documentation.  currently i have it wired up with to the pro race with the ground and the positive, I have not attempted to wire it up any other way.
I could try to see what results i get.
