« on: November 22, 2013, 10:59:47 am »
hey guys!

i need your help.
i will order an pro-gauge an will conect them to an BMW E36 Dashboard.
i play race07 and i dont know, what data race07 can give out to the dash.
i will use speed, rpm, oil temp an fuel level

what data can race07 give out?

does the pro-gauge work with race07?

Race07 will give all that data and more and yes the pro-gauge works right off the bat with Race07.
I'm using it with all simbin titles incl. Race07+expansions. :)

so today the cluster and the progauge has arrived. now i will buy some cables for the wirring.

here is the problem for me....the wirring

can you check my wires and tell me if i have an wrong wirring?

so, i have the white, blue and black conector
pin 2 +12v on white con. goes to the +12v on the progauge
pin 19 GND on white con. goes to the GND on progauge
pin 20 RPM Sensor on white con. goes to RPM port on progauge
What is with the +12v (30) and (15) on the white con?

next is the blue conector:
i dont know what i have to conecting ... +12v(15) +12v(R) GND???

next is the black conector:
pin 3 GND to progauges GND?
pin 4 Speed Sensor to speed port on progauge

what pins i need for oil/water temps and for fuel level???

can you say me, how is the wirring for the leds??

Use instead a ATX power supply to power the cluster. because it's more reliable if you want connect more gauges later.

the 3 pics make's your job super easier. Any question jusk ask ;)

Yes. You use what to supply the 12v? A atx power supply?

no i use the 12v power supply that comes with the pro-gauge.

yesterday i have install all cables and have started the test.
speed and rpm works fine, but the fuel and water temps dosnt work.
today i will check these two connections.

so today i will connect an bmw E39 steptronic shifter to an usb gamepad controller. my problem-> i dont know which contacts i need on the gamepad ^^

I don't know if the power supply that comes with the pro-gauge is enough for all the thing.

the fuel and water temp i know the problem ;) it's all about the parameters in simdash.

The shifter i don't know but send some pics or diagram to help you

Post here in the topic. The best would be a photo of the usb pad and the e39 shifter
