Dlc247 & LEDs

Hey guys, need some help, Im trying to wire up a LED strip to my dlc. The strip might require 12v and just has a pos & neg wire. Is this possible or does the dlc just take 5v leds? Thanks.

I think the DLC-247 can't do 12V.
You could do it by using a transistor and a resistor to make a switch, and a separate power supply for the LEDs I guess:
