Fan controller

   Cheerz,, been away for a bit, super excited you finally made a fan controller..

 I wish to use a fan such as this.. MOST POWERFUL OF ALL 120mm FANS
HF TFC1212DE-PWM High Speed Cooling Fan, 120 x 120 x 38mm, Dual Ball Bearing, high quality long life cooling fan
Speed: 4800 RPM, Noise Level: 65dBA, Air Flow: 252 CFM
Rated Voltage: 12VDC, Operating Voltage Range : 7 ~ 13.2VDC. Input Current: 3.4 A (max. 3.9 A), Input Power: 40.8 Watt (max. 46.8W)
4 wires 4 pin PWM+Tac Sensor. Fan will start at low speed, then go up to full speed after 10 seconds.



 So  is there a way to provide that amperage with another power supply?    Could I hook   12 v =/-     to another  feed,, and other leads  from fan to the  fan controller?     OR  would a larger amperage be able to pass through  fan controller ?    thanks for  making this unit!   And for taking time to address my questions!   Karl

the fan should work fine with the fan controller.

you are going to need a 12V 5A power supply with it.
