Shiftlight not working

I received the GI Max and the Rev Burner. Everything works but not the Shiftlight on the rev counter. In rFactor the GI Max flashes if I set it to "Read in-game shift light state". Does the Rev Burner not read the shift state from the sim?

I have a suspicion that I have to set the max rpm in the rev counter??

You are correct. The rev burner does not output a shift light signal. This has to be done manually through your rev counter im afraid.
