« on: December 20, 2011, 03:14:56 pm »
Hello,

I use a simscreen a GIMax and a pro-shift.
the first use of simscreen far, I've always had a problem with the software simdash (... v1.3.4 - v1.3.5).

SimDash crashes when I click "OK" in the setup screen of simscreen after the selection of designs to use.
Every time, I have to kill the process simdash, re-open and re charge the designs!

I have no error message on screen
I use the site disign symprojects

Thank you for helping me:)

No, it doesn t work.
I have to delete all designs loaded, click on "OK" and then it crashes .. then stop the process simdash, simdash restart and reload the designs ... and there it works

thank you for the quick response

In the SimDash folder there is a file with name SimDashLog.exe

After the crash and after you have killed the process check if that file contains anything, like an error message.

If you change the settings of the GI Max plugin for example, do you get the same crash?

thank you

Sorry but I do not see that file in my installation directory
When I change the configuration of GIMAx, I have no problem
Here's a short video  http://youtu.be/vGw2dBZxM0s

Thank you for the video.
I think the file is not present because in sometimes the installation folder is read-only and the file can't be created.
I would try to copy the content of the installation folder in a new folder, for explample on the desktop, and start SImDash from there.

Thank you

I just move the directory simdash on the desktop and now I have the log file SimDashLog, but it is empty before and after crashes.
I'm sorry but the problem still exists.

Thank you.
I will investigate the issue and try to find out what the problem is. I will let you know as soon as I find something.

Hi Cristiano
Any luck with the crashing issue with 135? I'm having the same problem and it's starting to get annoying. It mainly seems to be when editing the DLC board but happens other times as well. Once you have the main Simdash screen up you can't do anything with it. Exiting doesn't work and closing via Task manager doesn't help either as windows still thinks it's open when you try and restart simdash. Only way is to restart computer. I'm also having a couple of other issues that i will outline in the appropriate thread.

Hello.
What is it exactly. does SimDash freezes when you save the DLC-247 settings?
