from one day to the other, cant start anymore, even after new installation.

It looks like a configuration file got corrupted. The uninstaller(like many) probably doesn't remove configuration files.

Have a look in "C:\Users\faro\AppData\Local\" for the "SymProjects.com" folder. Either move that folder to somewhere else(like your desktop) or simply delete it(though you'll lose your configuration).

If Simdash still doesn't start, try one more reinstall(in case the installer needs to create default files for the program to work).

many thanks for your help.
This worked, i am back happy and enjoying my displays 

but these are the strange things, drove iracing the night before.shut off pc, startup the other day, and simdash did not work anymore. i really touched on nothing.

The fix was indeed to delete this folder:

C:\Users\faro\AppData\Local\SymProjects.com\

I have seen this error few other times. I have still to find the cause but I am investigating it.
