Can I use 2 tachs with one revburner?
« on: March 23, 2012, 05:45:19 am »
Hi, the subject is pretty self explanatory. I have 2 tachometers, one digital which consumes very little power and one non digital. I just bought the revburner(haven't received it yet) and I was wondering if it is possible to send the signal to both tachs using just one revburner.
Thanks in advance...Will.

Should be possible if you want the same signal on both tachometers, and I think that is what you want.
I think it will work, but I can't say that definitely.

you can connect the two tachometers to the same rev burner. they will show the same value..

yup it works, I have 5 inch Type R and a Honda Civic cluster hooked up to 1 Rev Burner, still waiting for the new board to run the Speedo and other gauges.

Cool guys, thanks for all the help. I do have another question about a cluster I'm gonna use(2001 jetta) but I will open a new topic for that.
