Sam Maxwell Customs with the Pro-Race display
« on: July 02, 2016, 05:40:18 pm »
Hello everyone!

I am new here having bought a Sam Maxwell Customs wheel with the Pro-Race display. I am looking for an in depth tutorial for the SimDash software to setup the wheel. Most options are intuitive, others not so much. I am currently having problems figuring out how to change the mapping, when I paddle-downshift the display changes the data, I would like to change this to one of the rotary switches. If it helps explain my issue I can upload a video or pictures.

Thank you!

Cristiano

Hello.
This screen:

http://www.symprojects.com/wp-content/uploads/ProRace_94CC/proraceconfig3.png

(from this page: http://www.symprojects.com/shop/pro-race/)

is where in SimDash you configure which buttons of the Pro-Race will  change which data is displayed on the left hand side and right hand side displays of the Pro-Race.

In this case buttons 1 and 2 will change the left display, in one direction or the other. Buttons 3 and 4 will change the display on the right.

If you want to assign different buttons, you have to change those values, and set different buttons or the rotary encoders.

Please left me know if anything is not clear or if you have other questions.

Regards
Cristiano

Hello Cristiano

Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been traveling. Thank you for the information, I think I now understand how the software works. Thank you again!
