Trimming a SPI-D?
« on: September 30, 2012, 07:29:54 am »
Hi, I am in the process of assembling a Speedometer and had a question of trimming my SPI-D. I would like to cut away some of the lower corners (bottom two mounting holes), I do not see any traces in these corners so I assume this will be ok, but I just wanted to check first.

it depends how much you cut.

if you stay near the holes it should be ok.

I will stay pretty close but won't touch the traces.  I will report back

So here it is 90% complete, just a little clean up left.  I put this together so I would not have to purchase a stand alone Speedo and the T500 is a lot bigger than my old G25 so I had to move my cluster.
