Formula Truck support ?

Hi there,
As it's released for those who pre-ordered it... Are you guys planning on updating Simdash to support Formula Truck ? (by Reiza, who made Game Stock Car).
It would be great !

Benjihunter, I got it working!
Cristiano, I hope you can include Formula Truck properly in an update to SimDash, but in the meantime, it does work if you change the Ftruck.exe file name to gsc.exe

Renaming the executale might work until the game is not supported properly.
Please let us know if it works.

see my previous post, it DOES seem to work fully if you rename the exe file to gsc, but it would obviously be good if you could include it correctly in a future update, thanks

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me; Simdash says it's configured once I rename the ftruck.exe into gsc.exe, but nothing happens ingame

That is strange, it worked straight away for me.
1) rename Ftruck.exe to gsc.exe
2) start simdash, and goto the simulators tab, click on 'configure' for GSC in the menu. Make sure you select your correct installation folder for FTruck.

That should be all there is to it.

Yep, that's what I did :/ Simdash says that GSC (FTruck) has been configured well, but ingame nothing happens.
Have you got the V1.0 or the V1.01 ?

I have simdash 1.4.1 and FTruck 1.01.

It is installed in C:\FTruck, not c:\program files... as that can often cause problems.

I can see no other reason why it would not work.

Don't mean to ask a stupid question, but are you definitely starting the program with the 'new' gsc.exe, and not an old shortcut or something like that?

I use simdash to power my racepro display and it works fine. It must be the hardware you are using, is that the GI Pro or Max? I do not have that, so maybe Cristiano is the only person who can answer why my racepro works but your display does not

You didn't do anytinhg wrong in the video as far as I could see.

Dammit, same thing for Dirt 2&3 !
Everything is configured fine, Simdash recongnizes that the games are running, but ingame, nothing.

And the hardware works fine, as rFactor and Race 07 work well with simdash

Does SimDash report that the game is running, when you start Formula Truck?

Just wanted to add that the game is realeased, if it can help you update simdash with ftruck parameters
