Pro-Race with iRacing
« on: May 14, 2013, 03:10:14 pm »
Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if there was a way to match the shift LEDs on the Pro-Race device with the shift LEDs of the cars in iRacing. I noticed that there is no "Read in-game shift light state" or any other option like that in the Pro-Race settings.
With my SLI-Pro, I was able to just download a plugin from the iRacing forums and everything worked. Is there something like that for the Pro-Race?

Thanks

Cristiano

Hi.
If I remember correctly you have to open the settings for the LED that you want to associate with the shift light and then in the "Indicators" tab choose "Shift Light".

There is no indicators tab, nor any tabs at all. I attached a screenshot

Hi Snipe,

Have you tried posting in the iRacing forum? If you mean being able to get Pro Race to automatically get shift information for the car used in iRacing then I know of no such capability, although I'm new to the Pro Race myself.

I've been setting my shift lights manually as I usually want something slightly different to the cars shift lights anyway.

regards,

Rob.

That is the configuration screen for the LEDs on the top of the display. the rev lights.
Those LEDs can only be associate to RPM.

The other LEDs instead (the 3 on the left, 3 on the right, 3 bottom left, 3 bottom right) have a different configuration screen where you can assign other data types to the LEDs, including the shift light status.

I'm only interested in the REV lights, I'm having a hard time getting them to match the REV lights of the various cars in iRacing.
