Any word on when this could be added to the new software for iRacing?

Hello.
if the data is available in the IRacing API, I don't think there will be problem adding that data.

Do you know what ARB stands for?

thanks
Cristiano

Anti Roll Bar, there are two the FRONT ARB AND REAR ARB

I was wondering if it was all possible if you could output the data in iRacing of the following for 7 segment LEDs,

Front ARB
Rear ARB
Weight Jacker
Fuel map
Brake Bias

I'm currently working on a Indy Car Display and it would make my life so much easier if the data I listed above be added to the already great data output the DLC 24/7 has.

Thanks.

Mike

It makes since now, I don't know what I was thinking. But how many LEDs can you connect per Connector A, Connector B, Connector C?

Ok I'm using regular LED's. Can someone draw me up a diagram for regular LED, I see the DLC can do a lot of leds and I want to have 10 per flag. I'm a little lost because I cant seem to figure out how to get them wired.

Thanks.

I have a DLC247 and 50 5050 SMD RGB LED (http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/component-leds/rgb-5050-smd-led-120-degree-viewing-angle/322/)

I want to use them for a Caution/Green/Blue flag light system for iRacing.

So I was wondering if it would work like this

16  LED's set to green Channel for Green Flags
16  LED's set to the blue channel for blue flags
16  LED's set yo to the red and green channels for yellow flags

Is this possible with the DLC247, if so how would I wire this up to work?

If someone would be nice to help it would be great!

Thanks

Hello Cristiano

As requested here is the link to the exact gauge I have.

If you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks!

Saber do you have the 12pin or 10pin? I have sent the PDF's of the instructions back when the board was in testing. Hopefully we can get the PSI gauges going soon!!

wow.
I was planning to buy one but I didn't realize it was that expensive.

I will read the documentation carefully first.

Hi,

Does the DLC-247 do the same with LED's as the PRO SHIFT ?

Single warning lights, Flags, wipers, headlights etc etc ?

It can be configured to the same, The Pro Shift has fewer LED connections than the DLC-247. I would get the DLC247  before I would get the Pro shift just for the face you can do A ton of things with LEDs, 7 Segment LEDs and more.

Saber,

Welcome,

I have been working with Cristiano on the Pro gauge and testing it as I have a full complete set of Spek Pro Gauges. The only gauges that work right now from the Proparts (Spek) brand are the Water Temp and Oil Temp, Speedo and Tach. I know of a couple of people have used the Fuel Qty as well (I have not confirmed it yet). As for the Psi Gauges, They are not working unlike the temp gauges the psi gauges use a 3 wire connection to the sending unit (5 volt reference, Ground and a signal wire) I'm hoping Cristiano and I can figure it out as I have the the gauges and he has the programing and electrical background. I have been meaning to contact him and send him a PSI gauge for him to test with. I'm sure he will come up with something just have to see what his magical mind can do.

Got my Replacement Gauges today, Cristiano Kindly Sent me the Dragon Gauges instead of the Type R gauges.

in my personal opinion, theses are much better, just a shame about no adjustable back light but that's just for show lol.

However, i seem to have a laggy Oil Temp gauge. in comparison with the other 2 gauges anyway.

I made a quick vid on it. Not sure if its an issue yet, but upon 1st calibration i did notice the temp was off at around the 50% to 75%range on the increase and decrease. but ive not got them configured 100% yet, still figuring it out lol.

My Spek Oil Temp as they same way, the Oil Temp and Psi gauges run at diff speed.

Watch mine running id demo mode

OK im going to change the question a little different, here.
Can anyone here tell me if I get a Proparts SPEK Volt gauge. since the progauge board do not have that option to get Voltage data from the sim, If I wire the gauge's input cable to 12 Volts DC output on the Progague board, will it read 12 volts on the gauge without damaging it please ?
Thank you in advance

That is how I have mine hooked up right now, just following the Spek directions.

How many gauges can the pro-gauge handle with the stand power supply I purchased with the board?

Can it Handle the following:
Tach
Oil Temp
water Temp
Oil pressure
Fuel

Thanks
Jim

What brand of gauges did you buy. I know the board can not supply enough power for A Spek Tach and 6 Spek pro gauges (Due to the amount of the LED's). but I'm pretty sure it will handle what you have. But let us know what brand of gauges you are using and a link so I can look at specs.

If i'm not wrong the revburner works the same way that progauge.

4 cylinders engine rev counters up to 17.000 RPM
6 cylinders engine rev counters up to 12.000 RPM
and 8 cylinders engine rev counters up to 8.000 RPM

But i remember read somewhere the proparts spek gauge have some issues to work. (but i can't be precise with that information)

The Spek tachs work perfectly with Symprojects products.
